Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains when you can cancel, when you can get your money back, and how long it takes. It applies to every plan sold on Trading Journal.
1.What you are buying
Trading Journal is a digital subscription. There is nothing to ship. Access begins immediately after your payment is confirmed and runs for the number of days shown on the plan you chose.
2.Cancellation
There is nothing to cancel. We do not store your payment details and we never charge you automatically. Each plan is a single payment for a fixed period.
If you decide not to continue, simply do not renew when the reminder arrives. Your access runs to the end of the period you paid for, and then stops. Nothing you entered is deleted.
3.Refunds
If the Service is not for you, write to us within 7 days of your payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason.
After 7 days we do not offer refunds for the remaining period, because access has already been provided. Two exceptions, where we will refund regardless of the date:
- A duplicate payment — you were charged twice for the same period.
- You paid but never received access because of a fault at our end.
If we discontinue the Service while you are inside a paid period, we refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis without you having to ask.
4.How to ask for a refund
Write to our support address with:
- the email address on your account;
- the Payment ID from your receipt, which starts with pay_;
- the date of payment.
You will find all three in the receipt we emailed you, and in My account → Payment history.
5.How long it takes
- We respond to a refund request within 2 working days.
- Once approved, we initiate the refund through Razorpay within 3 working days.
- Razorpay and your bank then take a further 5 to 7 working days to place the money back in the account you paid from.
Refunds always go back to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card, account or UPI ID.
6.Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, please write to us first. We would much rather sort it out directly than have you raise a dispute with your bank, which takes far longer for everyone.
